Ingredients

  • Egg
  • Flour
  • Sugar
  • Oil
  • Almond

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
  2. Crack the egg into a mixing bowl and beat it until smooth.
  3. Add the sugar and oil to the egg, then stir until the mixture looks well combined.
  4. Add the flour gradually, mixing as you go, until a soft dough forms that is not too sticky.
  5. Fold in the almonds and mix just enough to distribute them evenly through the dough.
  6. Scoop small portions of dough and shape them into biscuit rounds or small flattened discs, then place them on the prepared tray with a little space between each one.
  7. Bake for 12 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuits are lightly golden and crisp around the edges while still soft in the center.
  8. Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a rack or plate to cool completely.
