Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly oil it.
- Crack the egg into a mixing bowl and beat it until smooth.
- Add the sugar and oil to the egg, then stir until the mixture looks well combined.
- Add the flour gradually, mixing as you go, until a soft dough forms that is not too sticky.
- Fold in the almonds and mix just enough to distribute them evenly through the dough.
- Scoop small portions of dough and shape them into biscuit rounds or small flattened discs, then place them on the prepared tray with a little space between each one.
- Bake for 12 to 18 minutes, or until the biscuits are lightly golden and crisp around the edges while still soft in the center.
- Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a rack or plate to cool completely.
