Tips & Tricks (5)
- Cheese Distribution Magic š§Fold the shredded cheddar cheese into the meat mixture gently to ensure even distribution without overworking the meat.
- Moisture Mastery š¦Soak the crumbled bread in milk for 5 minutes before mixing into the meat to create a more tender, juicy meatloaf texture.
- Glaze Layer Technique š„£Apply the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard glaze in two stages: first before baking, then again in the last 15 minutes for a perfectly caramelized crust.
- Veggie Integration Secret š„Grate carrots very finely and squeeze out excess moisture before adding to prevent the meatloaf from becoming watery.
- Pan Selection Pro Tip š½ļøUse a loaf pan with drainage holes or place the meatloaf on a wire rack to allow excess fat to drip away, preventing a greasy result.
