Tips & Tricks (5)
- Bread Crumb Magic šUse fresh bread crumbs instead of store-bought for a more tender, light texture in your meatloaf. Crumble the bread just before mixing to retain maximum moisture.
- Cheese Distribution Technique š§Fold the shredded cheddar into the meat mixture gently to create pockets of melted cheese throughout the meatloaf, ensuring even flavor in every bite.
- Moisture Master Trick š§The milk and eggs work together as a binding agent - whisk them thoroughly before adding to the meat mixture to ensure a perfectly moist and cohesive meatloaf.
- Glaze Perfection š„Apply the mustard, ketchup, and brown sugar glaze in two layers - once midway through cooking and again in the final 10 minutes for a caramelized, glossy finish.
- Vegetable Prep Secret š„Grate the carrots extra fine and squeeze out excess moisture before adding to prevent a watery meatloaf and ensure even distribution of vegetables.
