Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pancetta Crisping Technique 🥓Render the pancetta slowly in a cold pan to maximize crispy texture and release maximum flavor before adding other ingredients.
- Kale Massage Method 👐Massage the chopped kale with a pinch of salt before cooking to break down the tough fibers and enhance tenderness and flavor absorption.
- Garlic Timing Trick 🧄Add minced garlic after pancetta is crisp but before adding kale to prevent burning and ensure a rich, nutty garlic flavor.
- Panko Toasting Hack 🍞Toast panko in a dry skillet before sprinkling to develop a deeper, nuttier flavor and create a more crisp texture.
- Liquid Balance Secret 💦Add chicken broth gradually and watch closely to prevent overcooking the kale while ensuring it's perfectly moistened and not soggy.
